One day trip that will show you just how beautiful Alps are. You will see mountain peaks, beautiful nature with lakes and treat yourselves with pancakes on top of Mangart at over 2000 meters high. It will be a day to remember.
We start in Kranjska Gora with a wellcome drink and morning coffee. In the meanwhile the whole route is explained in details and the participants get to know the team.
The start is a mild climb passing the Jasna lake. Soon the famous 50 serpentines take us over mountain pass Vršič (1611 m at top).
After the decent we have some kilometers to rest and prepare for ”the climb”. We reach the start of the climb. While peddling uphill the most amazing mountain views will amaze you. When reacing altitude of 2055meters we will stop at the alpine cottage Mangart.
It will be time to enjoy the views, and taste the famous pancakes. After some rest we will descent and go few kilometers over Italian border trough Tarvisio back to Kranjska Gora.
When reaching Kranjska Gora in late afternoon, we gather for a farewell drink and exchange of impressions.
